Give Life!!!

Did you know that Connor relied heavily on blood products, especially in his first 6 months of life, and in his last 18 months of life? He literally could not have survived more than a few days of HLH without a considerable amount of different types of blood products. Products like fresh frozen plasma (FFP), platelets, packed red cells, IVIG, whole blood.... Without these blood products, Connor would not have lived nearly the amazing life he did. We are so thankful for the awesome donors who gave of themselves to give our son life.
Please consider giving of yourself to do this for others! There are so many children just like Connor and adults who need blood products to sustain their lives. Please see below for how you can give blood and be a hero!

Our next Connor's House Blood Drive will be held THIS COMING Sunday, June 13th from 11 am - 3 pm! We'd love to have you come join us.

Donate Blood in one of two ways:
1. In person -
Sign up online at: https://www.membersforlife.org/bcnj/mobilesch/login.php
Enter your email address, birth date and sponsor code (32683) then click LOGIN. Select June 13th, 2010. Choose an available time slot and confirm your appointment. Or, if you are not sure on a time, but find yourself free on Sunday afternoon, please come as a "walk-in!"

2. If you can't get to Randolph, NJ on June 13th, 2010, you can still help save up to three lives by donating at your local blood center. If you live in Northern NJ you can still donate nearby and have your donation count for our Drive. Go to: http://www.bloodnj.org//donor_locations.htm to schedule an appointment. When you go be sure to tell them our sponsor # 32683.
If you live further away in NJ or in another State, you can find a local blood center or blood drive at: https://www.givelife.org/
If you have trouble finding a blood center near you please contact us and we will help you find a place to donate near you! Please let us know you gave so we can count your donation as an "off-site donation" for the Connor's House Drive.


NOTE: Wherever you give blood, don't forget to bring a form of official ID (Driver's License or signature ID) with you! Also be sure to drink lots of fluids and eat a good breakfast and snacks or lunch depending on when you donate. This is important and will really help you feel your best for your donation!
